EMDR Intensives
EMDR Intensives are a powerful, rapid, and focused treatment designed to address traumatic memories, anxiety, PTSD, and other distressing experiences in a powerfully condensed timeframe. Unlike traditional counseling services that may spread sessions over weeks or months, EMDR Intensives are extended session durations over a shorter timeframe, allowing for more rapid processing for healing.
Excellent for addressing acute trauma and for situations requiring intensive intervention; such as maintaining peak performance where faltering is not an option. Ideal for professional athletes, executives, public figures, and stage performers or others looking to enhance performance and better manage anxiety.
CBT Informed Practices
​At Desert Bloom we use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools as a component of your therapeutic treatment plan. CBT is integrated in areas such as skill building and building awareness of the link between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. CBT tools can be a helpful adjunct to other forms of therapy when clients need additional tools for managing stress and anxiety.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a somatic therapeutic approach that emphasizes being fully present and engaged in the current moment. As a component of our treatment philosophy, mindfulness ensures holistic self-awareness as we address issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic suffering due to lack of psychological safety.
